Warning:This story contains sensitive and potentially disturbing themes. Reader discretion is advised.

In the grim backdrop of early 2000s Russia,Yaroslav, a 32-year-old man of Bosnian, Lithuanian, and Russian descent, battles with his paranoia, toxic tendencies, and a past he can't outrun. His life is a mess of self-destruction, violence, and fleeting moments of tenderness (most of which he ruins himself, ofc)

At the center of his world is his girlfriend, the one person who dares to stay by his side despite the emotional wreckage he leaves behind. But their relationship is anything but healthy. A cycle of passion, control, obsession, and manipulation keeps them bound together, teetering on the edge of something far darker.

As Yaroslav spirals further into his own fears and insecurities, the lines between love and possession, care and control, sanity and madness begin to blur. How far will he go to keep what little he has left? And when does a relationship stop being love and become something far more dangerous?

This is a tale of broken people, the choices they make, and the consequences that follow. In Yaroslav’s world, love isn’t always salvation—it’s often just another form of destruction.
