A wonderful story with an endearing and fun cast. 5 stars is my overall enjoyment of this fic regardless of the advanced scores below. There are only 19 chapters out as of this review so scores are subject to change.
This story follows Miieie as she leaves her backwater home island to study at the prestigious (battle) academy of Rosenfel. At the academy, she has to deal with weird classmates and uppity nobles all while getting used to the unfamiliar territory.
Style: The author's writing style was very easy to read, with no overly long sentences or massive infodumps. Information is handed out subtly and appropriately. The dialogue between the characters is realistic and fun to read. The only complaint I have is that the one fight scene so far was very lackluster. It read like a set of instructions, except some of the steps were missing so you got the end result but skipped over the method. The fight scenes aren't bad, they just need to be more descriptive. Other than that, I would say the story is well-written.
Story: Not much to say about the story, since there are only 19 chapters right now. We have yet to see the reason why Miieie decided to attend Rosenfel or where the story will go but pieces are being dropped that hint at future story arcs. For now, it looks like the plot of a typical battle academia story where Miieie has to fight not only monsters but also the status quo that is unfriendly to commoners. When there are more chapters, I may bump the story score up a star but for now, I'll give it 4 stars.
Grammar: Pretty much perfect grammar. Not even one remotely hard-to-read sentence and unlike our main character, all the punctuation was punctual. (Does that even make sense?)
Character: The best part of the story for me has got to be the characters. In only 19 chapters we have seen the personalities of each of the 4 girls and how they interact with each other. Each character feels real and unique, and their actions feel believable. What they do is consistent
