And because of the title - 5 stars
I liked this better than WGO
Easy Mode, No Plotholes (because the plotholes are the jokes), bigger plot, and too ridiculous

Glad to have this story back! or at least the new version.
The pace is really faster than the previous story, and the MC does not seem to meet a lot of hardship. I guess that will change soon :p
It seems to be some kind of "prologue-arc" so let's see what will happen next!

Ok, for all the BR(not broken reality, I mean Brazilian's) readers, I think that all ( or the majority's) that read WG as a follow up for WGO (ATM chapter 13 is released) is gonna think something like: what the...?
BUT, isn't a bad thing. The biggest reason that I started reading WGO is Lucas. Why? He's the biggest badass-Asshole that I have ever read about!! But I say to all the BR and non-BR: wait for (at least) chapter 20 or 25, why? Simple! Right now sh*t is hitting the fan, wait for it to cool down a bit and for the characters to develop themselves. That really happens you know?

Ok, now for the star review:
Style: Ok, that one is tricky for me to say... it have the Virtual gaming thing, the transported to new world thing, and probably( if it really is a reread of WGO) the reborn thing ( now change "Thing" to "style" or "genre") but I thing he's probably putting the "unwanted/forced harem", "trains like hell and gets OP" and "is hated for not Being a complete as$" cliches of novels ( forgot the "have the devils luck" one)
i have nothing against them, but I will advise to be aware of too much bull$hit, use them but don't go over board ok?
Story: can't say much! But, as a rewrite I can say that it have a giant future, it may end with 200, 500, 700 or more than 1K chapters is @imaginextbreaker wants to and I really hope I go towards the 1K+ chapters. I personally don't know how hard is te write WG, but for my readers point of view the possibilitys are almost endless.
You have a mission to be completed, you don't know the means to do so, and you have time to spend doing it. That's the best "basic/starter" recipe for a long story with quality!! So don't mess it up with nonsense and keep with Lucas life. (As a tip, you can do spin off's almost endlessly for the right characters. After all Lucas can't know everything, but the reader can. right? )
Grammar: can't say nothing about that, but I can understand it perfectly. It have

Story, though similar to the old one there are still a lot of differences. And except for a few of them, these aren't bad type of differences. Those exceptions are usually characters and sometimes how protagonist acts and reacts. You know those annoying characters that are a must for every novel? Yeah, it's them. Pushy, bitchy, noisy etc..
Right now, I quite like how things are going. With things that are happening around our MC being pretty well balanced between all the worlds he's been to. Things are getting the attention they should be given and unnecessary things are left behind and not mentioned soon after, soon enough to not bore you.
Now, why I said it's a fun read is because author clearly knows what he is doing or what he wants to do. This is no surprise seeing this is a kinda re-write. But it's also because author is much more experienced in writing compared to like %99.9 percent of the authors on RRL. This experience of his makes his works much smoother and cleaner. You aren't just given infos you didn't ask for, out of nowhere. He won't write a whole chapter about a guy who will die a few chapter later. He won't make characters personality go back and forth like retards who forget who they were seconds ago.
I am not saying this novel is perfect or it's even close to perfect. But there are two things that make this novel worth reading. One, it is never boring. How is it never boring? Well, things are moving fast but not too fast, mc or anyone else doesn't just leave things unsolved and create future trouble for themselves. There aren't stupid plot twists and stuff like that.
Two, the whole novel is consistent. There aren't arcs full of action, devoid of anything else like romance-comedy. It goes for the other way too ofcourse.
TL;DR: If you have time, you should read it. I can at least guarantee that you won't regret spending your time for this even if you don't bookmark it.

It's not bad, it actually seems better then WGO. Story seems to be the same but starts faster and goes into the cultivation world faster. The story is ok. The writing is a little rough for what it is. Grammar seems alright. Honestly it is an improvement over the first story the author wrote, so good job author.

While I loved WGO and fully supported the re:write, I thought it was going to be more to fix the plot holes and remember some of the plot that occured in other chapters.
Does anyone else remember Lucas' rival, not Crow, that was stated in either ARC 2 or 3, when things were only starting to pick up. She was never mentioned again.
    But on with the review.
What you currently have in Gatekeeper is worse in almost every aspect compared to WGO, the rate at which the plot advances makes no sense, the character development is shit. The keypoints that changed lucas no longer exist because of the way things have panned out. There is a lot of missing detail that explains a lot about how each world works and effects each other when they get into contact.
Long story short, you ballsed up the re:write, what was a complicated plot with some plot holes is now a piece of work that relies on plot holes to keep the plot going.

Easy mode WGO with bigger plot hole because of that quest.
Forced quest just because your avatar is like a rabbit?
The MC was even acting like someone who grew up without common gaming sense.
And somehow the MC just met an npc out of nowhere and gave him an SS rank quest.
What's even more ridiculous is that it gave him an SS rank skill and OP class that no game developer would ever want the shame of creating while having -10 Luk stat!
Wow. Better stick to WGO dude.
Style - 3. Easy to read.
Grammar - 2. Straight out english but with the MC's mannerism and flimsy dialogues it is rated low
Character - 2. This story has a lot of fishy characters with fishy interactions.
Story - 1. It is understandable

This is a good story before the rewrite. A solid 4 stars. When I read there would be a rewrite, I thought great, the author will polish off a few quirks of his writing, rearrange the plot, fix some holes, and add in a few interesting tidbits. Sadly the author takes the opportunity to write for his most fervent fans, enhance the quirkiness, repeatedly break the fourth wall, make the MC even more of an idiot, and consistently refer to the previous version to develop characters who act more erratically based on reactions to things that haven't happened.

Sorry, if I didn't read WGO maybe I will give this story a 2 star score.
WGO is so much better. I feel like everything here just happened just because.
I like WGO's plot more, the time paradox and stuff. I wish for it to be continued.
