Description

Mari was happily whisking up some butterscotch slice when our story suddenly whisksherinto another world.

You'd think it'd be the beginning of another classic Isekai adventure,  but it soon becomes clear that things won't be so easy...Her nerdy-teenage-genius summoner has trapped her in his room, no one speaks English, and Mari's gut is NOT prepared for a whole new world of bacteria.

Can Mari overcome the travel diarrhea, learn a whole new language and escape before she develops Stockholm syndrome?

Most of all, can she learn to flourish in a world so different, yet so similar to her own?

******

Author note:  This story is written in response to all the unrealistic, plot-armour Isekais out there. I believe that adventures are more fun when there are unexpected surprises and challenges to be had.

That said, this is my virgin voyage into writing an ongoing fiction, so please take care of me @_@ Constructive critisms, suggestions and typos in the comments would be most appreciated!

Respectfully,

Mhm

This review is relevant up to chapter 7
A humorous account of an absurd situation, in which no reality-punches are pulled. Our heroine is accepting in the face of adversity, yet vulnerable when overcome by the situation in which she fights to stay sane. Absolutely worth a read, and I really hope there's more to come!
Style: Here's my only really gripe with the story. I don't appreciate the listings of events in a 1,2,3 or A,B,C style. This is absolutely subjective, and yet I'm still going to take issue with it because I'm a terrible person. Also, a major 4th wall break in chapter 1 is a bit off-putting.
Grammar: I honestly don't care that much about the exact adherence to grammar, as long as the story flows and mistakes do not take away from immersion. It only really happens a few times, and mostly around the listings I mentioned above.
Story: An absurdist take on the isekai trope, with a heavy dose of reality and the difficulty inherent to a meeting of worlds - especially those difficulties we don't usually care to describe. I adore the frank describtions, the humorous appeal, and the energetic heroine. Full marks.
Character: As is plainly obvious, I am simply awed by the ease with which the author has made the heroine both appealing and funny. She's not just some extremely clever MC with all the answers and all the right actions, but just another Jane Doe with all the mundane inanities we all share. That being said, there's really only just her who has been given any real character work thus far, but I'm looking forward to more characterizations if the author can keep this up. Full marks.
Overall: I really want more of this. I think I've said all that needs to be said, and hopefully the author will soon begin releasing chapters again. It's worth a read, and it's worth putting time into. While I have no idea in what direction the author will takes this, if it keeps up the way it has been going so far, I'll stay a supporter.

This is an early review since there's only 7 chapters when this review was written so it may change in the future.
The story is about our MC transported to another world (maybe) since the synopsis said so, at the start, she was treated like a lab animal and we follow her thoughts and actions.
Style is good, no problems there.
Grammar also good, if there were any problems I don't see it.
About character, can't say much since only the MC and one other guy introduced in the story but the author did a good job depicting their actions and realism.
Overall the story is still in its opening and not much meat to go on, it's a bit on the slow side but because it's realistic, the author seems to make realism the theme of this story.
Give it the benefit of doubt and read the story, it may or may not be your cup of tea.
