Description

When a pilot with no name breaks through a rift to a dying world, he and his experimental fighter-plane become the only things in the way of a horrific army of monsters that is marching to burn down the mystical world tree and kill its keeper as the final symbol of their grim victory.

What happens when an emotionless killer is transported to another place, when a man who was trained to hunt in the skies above barren ash-lands now becomes the last protector of the perfect garden below instead?

What happens when a soldier with as much blood on his hands as engine grease must find a way to live together with a peaceful incarnation of nature itself — a dryad — in order to save the last sparks of life on her fading world from a series of invasions that never seem to end?

The one-thousand year crisis has begun.

The world tree, towering up toward the heavenly skies, is the greatest beacon of resilience and peace that there is. Saturated with deeply set, ancient magical energies, it is the most powerful source of ambient, restorative magic that the dying world has ever known. Guarded solely now by its last pacifistic caretaker, a forest dryad, it seems inevitable that it will soon be destroyed with nobody around who is strong enough to protect it from the steadily approaching danger.

Rising from the shadows, horrific monsters from forgotten eras tear through the world in the steadily growing waves of their invasion, breaking free from their ancient prisons deep below its surface as they rampage and destroy the cities of men, elves, and all the other races of the many continents. Filled with nothing but an intent to kill, the system-manifested hordes march toward the last garden in order to bring about the end of the last era.

As one nation after the other falls, everything seems lost, until fate intervenes and a rift between worlds opens, bringing in the only hope the many nations, the sacred tree, as well as its peace-loving caretaker, have against the endless tide of blood and fangs — a transmigrated war pilot, flying an experimental combat aircraft, theJagdflugzeug-09'Kestrel'.

Is this one man enough to stop the monster invasions, which grow stronger and stronger with every subsequent wave? Can the pilot with no name carry the fate of the world upon his wings, or can he only watch from above as the fires of the apocalypse reach up to the sky to consume him as well before the fall of final darkness?

Great story as usual. It's in present tense so it might take a bit to get used to, but from what I have seen so far, it's worth it.
    OKAY. Let's see,
The MC likes to kill, but the other character, the dryad is a pacifist. (I prefer the MC to be honest)
The MC is a bit OP because of his plane, but, what did you really expect in a medieval world?
    The grammar is good.
The style, I like. It's kind of poetic, and... you'll have to read to see what I mean.
Overall, you should read it if you haven't already.
And apparantly I need more words. So, here are some more of my thoughts:
It's neat that there are japanese things next to the chapter titles, like easter eggs.
The MC is mostly emotionless I think, which is a sort of prerequisite to want to kill.
And that's it I suppose. Or not. I need more words. Words words words, and more words. Words yes words and even more words. Words word word word word. Yes. Word word word word word word word wodr wrjoowd wrodwo rowd rwodowo rowdo rwoowd word worowdo rwod rwod rowd rwod rdwor wod wro d woorwd oro wdwor

I don't believe there's much I need to say as this author's novels speak for themselves but I highly recommend giving the first 2 chapter a go. If you've read any of razz's other work you'll be hooked.
So far this novel is top 3 of razz's works(for me) it's really well written and the current verbal barrier actually allows much more expression to be show between characters.
I'm looking forward to more of this work and seeing how are favourite characters interact.

Give this one a chance if you're on the fence. Fun little story so far. Hoping to see some character development soon. So far it's been pretty much two people who don't speak the same language or have even the slightest of similar cultural backgrounds.
I am really looking forward to seeing some more creative use of the plane. We've seen just a couple encounters so far, which is to be expected this early into the story.
The quality of the writing and the editing is very good. I noticed two or three very small mistakes in 9 chapters.
This is on my Follow List - will keep reading. Not a lot of chapters yet, I think 12 at the time I wrote this. Probably will check out some of the author's other work, as this seems to be part of a larger story. If the quality of the writing is as high as this story's quality of writing then it seems I may be in for a little treat.

From the fact, the main character doesn't automatically know the language to the process of mapping, modern war to the world in a far from perfect way, the story feels both real and fantasy at the same time.  Probably not for everyone but give it t least a few chapters to hook you,

Amazing description and character sketch! I easily understood and felt the all the scenes! To the point story and no extra drama, just adore it how it went with the flow without a super long delay. The pilot and dryad had well build personality suitable for their situation. The first ch is long enough to say if the it's going to be a good ride or not, and needless to say, most certainly for me, it was an amazing experience of two opposite characters.

So far it is very enjoyable, the story is still in its early stages and I look forward to where the author takes it.
Author has put in a lot of effort in the presentation of the systems In place and has done things I didn't know were possible on RoyalRoad. It certainly helps immersion.

Story: The story begins in media res. With the pilot in the middle of a dog fight. Unfortunately for him but fortunately for us, he dies and is transported to a new world. From there we get introduced to the system elements along with several monsters and Caretaker who seems to be his cohort and hopefully love interest for the rest of the novel. Things start off rough with some heavy miscommunication. Blood is spilled. But all is eventually forgiven. They then work together. They both learn to protect each other.
Style: It took me a minute to get used to the present tense of the work. But after the first few paragraphs it was smooth like butter. The prose is very quick, with short punchy sentences. There isn't a lot of dialogue so far, but what is there is good. We do get plenty of inner monologuing which helps define the characters actions and motivations.
Character: I'm loving Pilot and Caretaker. They both have their reservations which has led to miscommunication as stated earlier. Pilot is obviously confused with his recent death, Caretaker is a person of the world: skittish and slow to trust. They both feel very real in their actions and motivations with the situations they find themselves in. I like how Pilot wasn't afraid to spill blood and while confused, initially, is taking to the situation without too much angst.
Grammer: Nothing of note to really report here. This was well-edited and easy to read. Anything called out in the comments seems quick to fix, allowing new readers like myself to enjoy it.
I'll be honest, I'm not typically a LITRPG reader, but I've never read a story with a pilot MC. So I was interested just on the premise alone. After the first few chapters I was sold. I HIGHLY recommend this series. Razzmatazz has put together an excellent story so far.

This story is a fun one, with many points of view.
Sadly for the poets, those are very few.
The author's a great poet. You'll find poems written low.
Search the comment section if you wish to know.
The plot is of a pilot, a world tree, and far more.
The vibrant, gorgeous writing is one that will not bore.
So go ahead and read it. Enjoy another tale.
This one is a fun one. And it's written well.

Pretty good start. Give the author a chance and he posted some reviews.
    Heroes:
Interesting style of character creation. Finally, the hero doesn't learn a foreign language in five seconds or with amazing magic. I hope that will not change. In the last chapter, the hero gained 28 new skills, I hope it will not affect the balance of the character and story too much.
