- Ysgramor's Soup SpoonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just think of all the possibilities a dragon made out of bone spoons or a spoon litch.
Real talk. Way too soon to speak but an interesting take on necromancy not just throw corpses on a pile an cast raise undead.
Therefore, Author I give thee my encouragement for keyboard tappy taps.
Spoon out.
PS: Black soul gems suck(heh)! - pantsterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Like the title says, the author brings a more realistic view on necromancy. Most stories make necromancers way too OP.
A level one necromancer would kill a bunch of goblins then raise them as undead and use them to kill more goblins.
Here we get to see a form of necromancy where preparation is required and its more of an investment than a quick power up.
Grammer is okay, a few mistakes here and there but I'm not a native speaker, so take it with a grain of salt.
As far as character development is concerned we're still at early stages in the story and there hasn't been much opportunity for that. However there are no glaring flaws in the secondary characters we've met. - Lord MonarchRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The whole book is intresting, worlf building has thought put in to it unlike some LitRPG series.
The story is nice.
I'll give you the extra star if you have non-harem romance. I.E I want a ship to sail w/ the MC in it. - KO_KingRoyal Road★★★ 2.5A well written story, the author is talented. If this was about general magic it would have been enjoyable.
but it's about necromancy. It takes everything that's cool and fun about necromancy as we know it, and throws it all in the trash.
the necromancy in this story is weird and alien and a bit silly. There's no biology, no biological customisation (outside of stupid Gatling guns, I mean, come on, Gatling guns? Really?) no necromatic tropes, the creativity is bland. It's taken everything cool about necromancy and stripped it away for unimaginative shit. A reincarnator that's a necromancy not having or using any advanced knowledge of biology? No (biologically) customised undead? No real magic? The magic system is straight out of Skyrim it's so simple and idiotic.
the most annoying thing is that outside of that, it's not a bad read, the author is pretty good as a writer, it's just the story itself, the plot, and themes that sucks.
