Wow, sorry but I can't let that trash review stand alone.
Let's be clear, that guy didn't even read this series. He freaking said so himself. I'm not sure when 'glancing' through someone's work made you an automatic expert, but I'm putting my foot down.
You know who else writes massive amounts of chapters and asks for reader support? Every author that wants to do things right. I'm sorry if your offended that the FREE entertainment you've been consuming doesn't get made in a vacuum for you to peck at at your leisure, but some of us are trying to make a living.
I've done more than glance and I genuinely only have good things to say.
But don't just believe me and for sure don't listen to sir Glance'alot. Check it out for yourself.

Great potential, well written, the world is complex, coherent, and well explained, the story is engaging, and the character development is interesting and well done
The magic is well explained and very diverse, the fights are well written, as are the dialogues and environments
So, one of the best magic novels with an anti-hero / villain MC on this platform and others

So I read the whole thing in two days and would recommend it to anyone who likes stories with a mage mc, the mc not a pure mage but is to 90% focused on his magic skills which I really like.
The only negative of the story for me is that the early chapters are rough from a grammar perspective and have to be corrected.

If I were to describe this novel with one quote, it would be this
“The secret of success is to do the common thing uncommonly well" — John D. Rockefeller.
This novel is a diamond in the rough; while there are a few grammatical errors here and there, they're easily avoidable. And the style and character of the novel more than make up for it. This novel takes a new look at magic and its applicability in a modern parallel world to Earth. In which a young man has to constantly persevere through many disadvantages. However, he is not like many of those other characters who just thoughtlessly gain power from nothing. His constant perseverance is so striking that it has motivated me to persevere more in real life.
The Magical elements of this book are also well thought out, and not nearly as bland as Fireball go boom! There are complex relationships between the characters, even though Nick is a loner. The elements of magic and flashes of his personality (The secretary lol), give more depth to his character. The magic rules themselves are comprehensive and show depth that is not often seen in this type of novel. And the combination of modernity and magic is combined effectively into a cohesive whole.
While I have not finished this novel yet, I have felt so compelled by the masterful crafting of the story that I simply had to write a review about it. If I had to say anything about the story, it would be this: persistence is key, but what is life without freedom?
Keep it up, Unconquerable Soul. I hope more people find this novel and learn of its greatness.

This web novel started out pretty weak, but the author improved his writing significantly over the course of the chapters, and we're still relatively early in Nick's journey. I hope it doesn't suddenly get abandoned like so many promising works on this site before a proper conclusion. The only thing that saddens me is that Nick hasn't managed to form any meaningful human connections or find a living being he cares about. I understand trauma, but even the edgiest protagonists often find someone they love during their lives. It's also true that 98% of the people he's met along the way are a complete mess, and he hasn't made any effort to get to know the few who are sufficiently lovable.  Author's Note: I recommend at least tweaking the format of the first few chapters. The walls of text are a real turn-off. I almost gave up on the book because of this, and it must have been the case for many others. It's a shame because, as I said, over time the author has learned how to write and make the text readable. Another thing: too many sex scenes or scenes of a sexual nature that are completely gratuitous and unnecessary. I'm not against smut in my books; in fact, I read a lot of romance and dark romance, for that matter. But showing this type of interaction, especially when it's not just between our protagonist and others but between secondary characters, well, I don't know, it leaves a strange aftertaste. That's all, go ahead and keep up the quality.

The plot of the book is incredibly engaging and had me hooked for hours—I couldn’t put it down. The story is original and compelling, with twists that kept me turning pages. However, the book definitely needs more polishing. Long, unbroken paragraphs made the reading experience harder than it needed to be, and better formatting would really help. With proper editing, this could easily be a 4-star, maybe even a 5-star read. Still worth checking out!
