World Gone Astray

Mat has been told that he is worthless his whole life, but even so, he has always dreamed of making his mark on history. Unfortunately for him, he has never been particularly good at anything. He fainted when he tried to learn his family’s blacksmithing business, and even when he tried to fight a lowly goblin scout he ended up chickening out and running away. So he gave up on that dream… or at least he tried to. Every night he continued to dream of being someone special, someone that would be written about in the history books, and someone that was truly world changing. That dream festers within himself, and when the night of the ritual comes, he knows that it is his chance to finally talk to the gods and goddesses of the world of Zioln and acquire the strength he needs to accomplish his dream.
