- ChappyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don't even care if it continues as a baby story 'till the end, the way this is written just makes it so much better. Best baby stage of a reincarnation novel I've ever read.
It's fairly easy to imagine the scenes, of a baby valiantly waddling into battle. Brilliant. - Elina VioletsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Using the difference between inner- and outer-monologue as humor between an adult in a baby is, in my opinion, very well done and funny.
I for one really enjoy the story, and I truly hope that the not-so-positive comments will not stop the author from continueing the story. And for the author: If you keep at it at this pace this story will become popular in no time, so don't lose hope.
Now about the facts;
(These are still in my opinion so if you don't agree then that's no problem)
- The spelling only has a few grammar mistakes, and by re-writing the author will improve that fact.
-The story telling is good and well paced, though sometimes I have to re-read a part to come to understand it. I can also say that some parts are a bir crazy, but what is there to expect when it's literally a baby going out in the world and waddles his way into battle. Nothing completely normal is to expected in that area. Personally I found that the fighting came pretty quick and hoped he bonded more with Mother and Mark, but if it happens this way it will. Afterwards as the author already said the humor will become more of a background thing and fighting, building and comradery will become the focus of the story. But still good non the less.
- Character development. Now here's a tricky one since the point of this entire thing is that they stay as baby's, and they only mentally grow. Sometimes it hard to match the image of this mentally growing adult with a tiny baby, but that's to be expected. For the rest I think the author isn't doing a half bad job, definitely with the 3 new characters. I feel bad for his first friend and his parents, but hey the story has to go on.
- and lastly style. Really I have no problem with author's style it's their style, it's readable and understandable and that's what matters. So I don't have anything to point out here.
Don't give up author-san, your story Will make it if you keep working at it, so don't lose hope! - SedactiveRoyal Road★★ 1.5The title basically says what i want to say.
The whole junkie shizzle and the fight with the rat is utter bullshit.
The novel litteraly did an infinite jump kick combo on me making it impossible for me to take it seriously.
And that just in the first 2-3 chaps making this one of the most awkward novels i have read even tho the grammar/spelling is quite good.
Meaning this is not a crap novel written by some 13 year old not having any mastery over the english language.
Instead its just what the author decided to write about that is making this a not so pleasant read....
