- InsideOut3Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0My first impressions were really good. Multiple strong verbs and vocabulary in general right off the bat. The scene is heart wrenching, really. I couldn't imagine being in that situation. I don't want to spoil anything, but its not a fun time. The two characters in the first scene seem really believable in their emotions and reactions. That's one of the main things I look out for.
The second scene. Wow. I've seen crazy scientists played in plenty of fiction, but this was so spot on. It didnt feel drawn out or overdone or cliche. Just enough to get the point across while being funny. I love that the cows don't like him. And then, the final two paragraphs of the second scene were captivating. The solid, descending sky had shivers going up my arms.
At the beginning of the third part, where we go back to the characters from the first part, I felt a little lost. I think it would help putting a little note at the top of each scene for who the main perspective is. Well, assuming that it's going to continue jumping from perspective to perspective like this. But, I liked the third part too. The final moments for our two characters were so sad. Obviously, I knew that something was going to happen to save them, or at least Cedric, but it was still so sad, imagining it from their perspectives.
Great work. Ill keep my eye on this one - Yolo420Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I actualy really like this. It gripped my attention from the first few lines. I like how the scene was built up, not quiet giving all the facts up front.
It did have some big word I had to look up, but I kinda like that. Makes me feel like im getting smarter.
The scientist is like so crazy. "The cows didnt like him" had me laughing.
