When a Demonic Assault occurs, most people stuck inside of a Fracture end up hiding inside of a bunker in the hopes that they don’t end up killed by a demon.Others might even hope for the slightest possible chance at signing a contract with a spirit and becoming a Guardian.So when Scarlet was caught in a Fracture, the last thing she expected was tobecomea demon herself.

Exactly two centuries ago, humanity was struck with their very first Demonic Assault.The skies above the capital of the US, shattering as if made of glass; demons of all kinds appearing out of nowhere; and no way to effectively stop them before the end of the Assault.

On the brink of devastation, some of the humans managed to find themselves offered a contract whilst inside of a Fracture. One bringing a chance at power, fame, and fortune.

Now, long after every nation of the world joined together to form the Terran Republic, Scarlet finds herself stuck trying to find a university from the Republic’s capital that will accept someone from a lower tier city into their midst.But, as if that wasn’t already enough trouble for one person to bear, she somehow ends up stuck in one of the Fractures of a Demonic Assault while visiting her father figure’s company building.

However, she doesn't perish in the darkness and instead awakens her dormant bloodline as a noble demon.A Blood Lycan.

Turns out she had been a demon all along and had been born for the apocalypse.

What to expect:LitRPG, Progression, Lycanthrope MC, Blood Magic, part-demon MC. And while the story does have the sci-fi tag, and feels relatively sci-fi, it technically isn't sci-fi, since the 'advanced technology' in the story is simply regular technology enhanced to do what it normally wouldn't be able to do through magic and skills.

Whatnotto expect:Betrayal by a loved one, romance, school arcs, modern day social and political norms, and superheroes. (the Guardians are publicly known to be fighting the demons in order to grow stronger, and not out of any actual desire to save people)

    I have read all the currently available chapters. They have been incredibly enjoyable. The world and systems involved are well written and being revealed at a decent pace. A thoroughly enjoyable main character. I'm looking forward to more and would recommend this to anyone that has enjoyed other series somewhere for example solo leveling.

    Whilst for the most part this is simple and fast paced there is just enough world and character building going on to keep me engaged and excited about the next chapters. This is true up to chapter 33 in book 2 as that's is where I got to on patreon.

    This is a great serial read. Chapters get broken up into bite size parts making it easy to read one at any point in the day. Updates are frequent with up to 3 of these bite sized chapters a day. The writing style is easy to follow and the author includes images of tables so there's no concern for formatting issues. Characters are relatable with the MC being easy to understand. If I had to pick a single complaint it's that she doesn't have a tail, but that's not worth taking points off for.

    What more could you possible want?

    Seriously though, this book is great. WolfShine is probably one of my favorite authors at this point, and this book in particular is me of my favorite.
    While still in the relatively early parts of the book at the time of this review (Chapter 31, the chapters are admittedly short) there is so much going on, and the world is quite a vibrant one. And at the same time, the pacing of the story is just slow enough to not have readers scrambling to catch up to what's happening. I can't wait to see where this goes in the future.

    As an autistic person that's obsessed with red and black I have loved the aesthetic of this story. I've really enjoyed the whole thing so far. I do feel feel like the pace has increased quite a bit now with things happening faster than necessary could have stretched things and had more slice of life stuff or more different character perspectives. Her friends all leveled pretty high given the time they were guardians and her cousin must be the youngest tier 2 guardian would have been good to see some of those things happening. Maybe see one of the other characters getting a universal achievement again the cousin. I get the impression that the author isn't a fan of romance (based on this story I've not read any of their others) there is some side character stuff kind of happening behind the scenes but nothing for the main character that could have added something and been an extra plot point to explore so everything wasn't moving so fast as we approach the end. Not saying you have to write that stuff in and I have loved everything so far just might be a nice thing to try even if you need another author to help you with that stuff maybe?
    I will try some of your other stories but again I have loved the aesthetic of this one so much I only wear red and black my rooms are red and black my dog is named red (She was black as a puppy but turned blue she's still great though) I'm also really into werewolf stuff so extra good. I also don't like physical contact and have social anxiety.  Anyway thanks for everything you've written I probably wouldn't have included criticism or suggestion but needed to get the word count up

    So far this book is great I always love xenofiction and while this doesn't really qualify as that I still like it and the story is thus far very compelling, my only possible complaint is that it's short so far but that doesn't really count does it, also the chapters are individually quite short as well but it seems to have fast updates so it's fine with me

    I just found this less than two hours ago and I binged through it already. Totally worth a try to at least until a chapter in the 10s. There are great fight scenes and the comedy isn't bad at all. I would very much recommend this to someone that was just bored and have nothing else on their minds.

    OMG, just finished reading the first 16 chapters of this magical girl adventure, and I'm totally hooked! 😍 The author's first-person style makes it so fresh and gives us a deep insight into Scarlet's thoughts. The world-building is done really well, and I love how it's revealed through Scarlet's perspective.
    The story has everything I want: a cool post-apocalyptic setting, an interesting magical system, and awesome fight scenes! 👊 Grammar is mostly on point, just a few typos here and there, but nothing too distracting.
    Scarlet, our MC, is super likable and relatable. Her decisions and thoughts make sense, and I can't wait to see how she grows throughout the story. Sometimes her reactions to secrets and discoveries feel a bit muted, but maybe that's just her personality?
    Overall, if you're a fan of magical girl/guardian stories, this one is a must-read! Can't wait for more chapters! 😄🌟

    Fun MC, she is a bit OP but she does not feel like she stomps everyone, and there are definitely stronger people out there than her.
    The magic is fun, the world is a bit like a game, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

    This is a great story.   Sure there are a few typos and some parts didn't seem to go together.  But for a coming of age story is it great.  It is fast paced and full of action.  The main character is engaging and her relationships are believable.  I am getting this from Amazon as each book releases.
