this is a whole lot more than just a simple child raising adventure with interspecies twist.
the baby in question - thus far - could be any precious item that kickstarts grandiose chain of events that ripple throughout the land. theres greed, treachery, court intrigues, maybe even a war? O,O

I have reached halfway through this book, and I can definitely see the potential the author has, which has allowed me to get that far. The characters have heart, and the idea has an intriguing element.
However, I think there are a lot of things the author could work on. For example, the excessive telling and repetition made getting immersed in the fantasy world a bit tough.
The idea, characters, and word-building are promising. They would benefit a lot from the author working on themselves by strengthening their prose and handle on writing structure.
