Will to Live

Freedom is sought by everyone, but even more so for a creature simply born to be killed over and over again. The cycle is infinite and agony. Then it is broken, all by a single act of kindness, where one person stays their hand and shows him what it is like to live.This is the first story I've written that wasn't a fanfiction. Sorry if it is cliched or simple.
