Description

In the far reaches of space, the Wildflower isn’t just a ship—it’s alive, bonded through a blood pact to Magnolia Tova, a reluctant treasure hunter and estranged daughter of a powerful nobleman. Captaining a crew of misfits—each carrying their own secrets and scars—Magnolia navigates a life of privateering, mercenary work, and treasure hunting, balancing survival and purpose.

When the Starward Syndicate, a ruthless interstellar faction, executes Magnolia’s father and sets its sights on an ancient artifact tied to an enigmatic place known as the Dragon’s Cradle, the *Wildflower* crew becomes entangled in a dangerous race. Magnolia inherits her father’s final gift: a mysterious map leading to treasures that could shift the balance of power in the galaxy—or destroy it entirely.

Haunted by her father’s death, Magnolia must decipher the map and stay ahead of the Syndicate while grappling with her newfound role as the Wildflower’s voice. Alongside her fiercely loyal crew—Hanjoon, a dragon-turned-soldier; In-Su, a spirit dancer; and the enigmatic Han and Lee—Magnolia faces challenges that test not only her courage but also the fragile bonds of her found family.

As the Wildflower ventures beyond known systems, its sentience deepens, weaving itself into the crew’s lives in unexpected ways. But the closer they get to the Dragon’s Cradle, the more they uncover about the Syndicate’s true intentions—and the devastating stakes of failure.

This story has an excellent beginning that sets up a compelling hook for a spacefaring adventure. Three chapters in and I already know I'm going to be devouring new chapters the day they come out.
The prose-work here is excellent, with character description that is vivid, natural, and stirs the imagination, without drowning the reader down in extraneous detail.
All in all, can't wait to read more.
