Maybe, maybe. But so far I think it deserves the title, with some fresh concepts not taken in an overly serious way, Jojo is is a simple character not laced with edgy 'chosen one's energy and a more down to earth persoective than most stories seem to write
The characters are all fantastically unique and interesting without requiring several chapters of exposition to show that.
The system doesn't require 3 Phds to follow, being more conceptual, no huge descriptions.
E.g. If you punch good you get level then punch gooder.
I was able to simply enjoy reading without having to use 200% of my brain. Worth reading, would recommend.
