Keywords: Medieval, Tragic, Dilemma*
This short story- I cannot emphasize that enough- is a play against the traditional "Good-Always-Wins" trope. I wrote it as a dilemma* which went poorly for the kind man.
My apologies for my fellow voracious readers, this is a 1-2 page story, it will not keep you fed.
Have fun reading, o7.

- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is one of those stories that is kind of self-explanatory in a way. It worked well, but the crude way of portraying - to the point of caricature - a type of speech is not endearing. It dips in and out of two difference cultural accents in a way which is quite possible to be seen as stereotyping. Claymores are slashing weapons, not piercing and a broken blade would generally be a poor implement. Given the situation, disarming and taking of individuals would be only a natural response. The story has an interesting premise, but some of the elements don't mix well and if this was meant to make a comment about caste, then it faltered on that side element.
