Who Time Left Behind

She was a capable knight who is steadfast and loyal to her kingdom. Her sworn duty was to the kingdom's young Prince, but her long standing history kept her close to the Crown Princess. Unexpectedly, on the night of the Princess' coming of age ball, a man wielding a dark, ancient magic laid siege to the kingdom. Despite her primary duties, she rushed forward to defend her Princess, inadvertently becoming caught in a forbidden spell that threw them both into a void between space and time. When they finally break free, they find themselves in a world unrecognizable from their own, as the Grey Magician has conquered most of the land and their kingdom is no more.
