Description

[Note: This fiction is essentially dropped / in deep hiatus. Please read at your own discretion.]

A journey that began with a simple wish, taken horribly out of context.

'Ah, I wish that I could change my life. I wish for something truly exciting to happen.'

Follow our heroine as she surmounts increasingly difficult odds! As she battles with heavy topics such as 'Is it really safe to eat this?', 'How am I supposed to slay a wyvern!?', and the ever-popular 'Does this shade of pink make my slime look fat?'

"For the record, I've never asked that last question you bastard narrato—"

Follow her as she traverses the world and seeks out her destiny! Thrown into the world with nary a leg to stand on, what will our gelatinous heroine do next? Will she become a savior? Or this world's very own Demon King!?

"Wouldn't you mean Queen? Aside from that, please stop talking like I'm not here."

But at the end of the day, there is one foe that she just may never slay. Despite all her efforts, will she be able to overcome the barrier that is ... hermarital status!?

"Alright, I'm going to Devour you too."

We hope you enjoy the thrilling conclusion!

"It really isn't that exciting. Please don't expect too much."

I read this when it first started getting published and I loved it. Good story. Good writing. But author took a really long break so I had almost given up but it was so good I never removed it from my reading list cause I was that hopeful they would start publishing again I liked the story that much.

Now this is the kind of story I’m looking when I come to RR. Great character, humor, litrpg, and an interesting story. This is definitely one of the jewels of RR. The author should put it up for sell as an ebook at some point, I’d definitely buy it.

I was really tentative on reading this, thinking it was gonna be a copy off of the other slime light novel. It's not and its lit 😤👌💣💯💯.
Now on to an actual review, the MC is likable and she has no (or little) qualms about surviving in this harsh world. *spoiler* I love the idea that she can glimps into things she should not know and strives to obtain the greatest power she can achieve when the opportunity presents itself. *end* The MC is able to think on her feet (lol 💯💯💯) and the back story the author wrote for her gives us an insight on how (and why) she acts the ways she does. Strong female lead with a good personality.

The writing is good, it's fun to read and the grammar and general writing style is better at a technical level than most of what I have read, especially on this site.
The main character is unorthodox for a story like this, instead of a goody-two-shoe you have a morally neutral character with a love for dogs and a passing familiarity with plants.
She is not a genius, she is not a saint, nor is she a devil or an idiot. She is competent, hard-working and has a realistic mindset, and that's how she survives and thrives.
I like the side-characters of the main story, I like the main character (even if I think she is not a good person at all) and I like where this is heading and what have happened so far.

This is how much I like this story: at around the same time Shinde was starting this marvelous gem of a story, I was starting my own titled Slimegirl Survival. At the time, I had some good ideas but I was also reading this slime story and too much was resonating with me. I stopped my other story because I got depressed someone was taking a similar premise and doing it better than I was. I know that is a terrible excuse to stop writing but it is what happened.
Since then I have continued this slime adventure and have loved every chapter. My only major hang up so far is the introduction of a certain elfin character who annoys me, but she annoys the other characters to so I guess that's on purpose. Whatever, this slime story is great and I definitely want to read more.

Who Says This OL Can't Be A Splendid Slime!? is an enjoyable and light monster story mostly following an office worker from Earth who finds herself a tiny slime in a dungeon in a magical litRPG world.
The story is fairly slow paced, with the author taking their time to develop various aspects of the story and world. The best things about the story are the writing style and the MC Rozalin the slime. The main character is pragmatic and rational, and her approach to problems and internal dialogue are very well-written and fun to follow.  The writing style which incorporates that internal dialogue flows very well and is highly entertaining.
My minor issue is that Amalia is kind of annoying with her holier-than-thou naive attitude and moral inflexibility, and sometimes seems to be subtracting from the story rather than adding to it though. However, this is mostly a matter of personal preference.
The plot has been interesting so far and has created many interesting possibilities for the future, and I look forward to seeing what happens.
    I strong recommend this story.

Only read up to current chapter (24) so far... But so far, it's very good.
If you like female slimes, maxing out mechanics in a non op way, and a smart ass teaching a furry life is unfair so grow up, you'll love this.

The story of a slime seemingly destined to do great things.
This story is incredibly fun to read. It has decent grammar, a simple but entertaining plot and an interesting main character.
If you're looking to kill some time reading something quick and easy with lot's of entertaining value, you can't go wrong reading this story.

I just wanted to read the first 1-2 chapters before going to bed but then I had to binge everything until it was much too late at night, but it was worth it.
This is the story of a bored office lady that wishes for some excitement and is promptly transformed into a tiny slime dungeon monster in a fantasy world. After fighting for survival against tiny insects she encounters a more dangerous foe encroaching on her territory...
Style: Told in first-person internal/limited view, the narrative style is quite near to the spontaneous thoughts that buzz through the protagonist's head (sometimes a bit too trivial thoughts). The word choice is fine.
Story: It's a story with a non-humanoid (and non-dungeon-core) lead in a fantasy world and which while not groundbreakingly new is still uncommon. Some of the elements seen so far (starting as a weak monster, being uniquely able to absorb victims' abilities) are similar to ELLC. The flow of the story is good in matters of the maintenance of suspense and the (so far few) arcs, the pacing feels a bit quick (but not rushed, just lots of leveling in a few chapters).
Grammar: Very good, I noticed almost no errors.
Character: The protagonist thankfully reflects on her abilities and options in order to use them in the most beneficial way, although there are some short-sighted decisions. Acclimatization to her species change is unusually smooth, but then again she treats it as a welcome break from monotony. The jadedness that came with being stuck in her human job is alluded to but in total there has not been too much depth to her character (yet? this is just chapter 12).
