Do you think the people who build prisons ever entertain the irony of themselves one day being incarcerated? Probably not.

I certainly didn't. I created my dream game out of a sense of wonder and self-(over)confidence. But you wake up from dreams, don't you? As I'm learning, not always.

I'm trapped in the game I created, given odds that are out of my control: my account brand new, and branded with restrictions, I can't level up, I can't reach out to the moderators, I'm forced to experience every knife to the gut, ever blunt object to the head as if it were real, and worst of all... I have to deal with the sheer certainty of my own death. I'm a ghost in the machine.

But the warden knows his walls, and I know my prison like the back of my hand. I just need the right cards.
