Who Fixes Books Anyway?

On the pretense of a raise, the relatively new employee Pernie is called in to talk with her superiors.

NOTE:This is a short story written for a class I took recently. As a result of deadlines, it does not possess the quality (or length) that I would like and is rather thrunkated. Perhaps sometime far in the furture I'll fix it up. For now, I have much more important things to work on, such as my other fiction.
