- Royal-FlowRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5What I like about the novel so far, is that the mystery and the depth behind every sentence. The compassionate angel is first asked not to interfere with humans(maybe there is a reason, but even angels don't follow rules? or is there wisdom in that rule).
A higher being is introduced from the get go Gabriel, more mystery we don't know his role in the story yet.
Then the fact that the protagonist is protected by something even greater, is complimented by the fact that he is a stoic and a person who went through a lot. "amidst the darkness, there were fleeting glimpses of resilience and strength, moments of quiet determination that spoke volumes of his character. "
