Description

Work is on hiatus. May return in the future. Note to self: don't do an off-the-cuff novel, plan ahead instead.

Simon is in a worker's hell. No matter what he does or how hard he tries, he doesn't earn more; he's stagnant. And he's given up trying.

He finds his refuge in light novels but comes across a dark truth: all his favourite novels go on hiatus!

His complaints online draw the attention of wandering eyes and before he realises it, he's in a fight for his life and a race against time to discover the truth about the disappearing authors - and the superpowers that some people suddenly seem to have!

Join Simon and an eclectic crew of misfits as they search for the authors that have been stolen and the stories that never finished, but deserve to be.

[This is my first piece of writing and is written mostly in jest and as a bit of practice. Any feedback is welcome. Updates will be intermittent.]

This novel is on of the best I have ever read, definitely a gem in the rough! I created an account after years of reading on this site as I was so impressed and inspired by this novel!
    Edit: Not a bot
Style: the authors style is, and I say this with complete confidence, extremely unique and beautiful. Every word and phase builds the dark atmosphere and mysterious world that sucks you in. Every paragraph is assembled in a way that makes the chapter flow in a beautiful current that you can't escape. Every chapter builds something important and has you grasping for words by the end. The perfect torture is reading this and waiting for a new chapter.
Plot: I have no critiques I could possibly give the plot, It is just that good. Every little detail and dialogue end up becoming important to the plot, making the whole novel to fot together like a jigsaw puzzle. The twists are the perfect mix of surprising and believable, creating a beautiful image that every piece foreshadows but is incomprehensible till the whole puzzle is assembled.
The plot wonderfully describes why tragedies are occuring around the globe. It also implies that there is a way to put a stop to the tragedies and recover our favorite novels that we have lost due to a vast conspiracy. Furthermore it not only has a wonder twist and explanation for the world, but also some quite sophisticated humor.
Grammar: Beautiful, Perfect and there is nothing more to say.
Character: There is one word to describe the characters of this novel: Human. Everyone is unique and unexplainable in a way that makes you predict there every move, knowing that you can never truly guess, or understand the complexity that lies within them. The relationships between them are so understandable, that every interaction has you feeling as you are apart of it. You will see many of your own relationships in the novel, and it will help you understand those around you better.
This novel is amazing, and I can safely say that my life has improved b

My long-overdue review of a good and promising story.
    Style - 5
The style is good and consistent. First-person perspective helps to get into the mindset and perspective of the characters and this story manages to make quite a good use of this feature.
    Story - 5
The plot is interesting and fun but as of this review it's still in its early phases, so it's hard to have a strong opinion about it.
    Grammar - 5
A few spelling mistakes here and there. Not many and I only noticed some after going through it a second time. The grammar is quite good in this story.
    Character - 5
The characters have managed to show quite a lot of their personalities in just 2 chapters which is an amazing feat, definitely the highlight of this story.
    Overall - 5
It's great, it's funny, do read it.
