When We See a Different Moon

On a picturesque night. Two lovebirds sat hand in hand. Each so different in standing,  but so alike at heart. The moment was still. Almost as if time left them to be to enjoy this final moment. Away from the mundanities of their common life. Away from the expectations and regulations.

Just two people deeply in love, shoulder to shoulder...

"Do you... remember that sweet saying you told me one time? "No matter far we are, or what we're facing. I will always be looking at the same Moon~ That was so sweet... Lucile, I'm sorry for being an idiot. Love you to the Moon. Forever and Always" The girl spoke softly. Smiling towards her lover one last time before walking away.

The young man didn't speak. He didn't even turn to look. He knew if he turned around he would never be able to let her go. His eyes watched the waves in deathly silence as her steps faded away. "Love you too the Moon..." he muttered softly as his tears fell into the ocean. The silver moon watching over the two star-crossed lovers in helpless pity.

Like a scene from a painting. A beautiful young man looked up into the vast night sky. His eyes wandered to the blue moon covering the sky, as he let out a self-deprecating chuckle. "I guess we don't see the same moon anymore, huh Lilith?~"
