On a lovely tree with vibrant leaves that welcome the dawning spring, sits a little green bird. Like all of the humans it watches, the small creature is just as ordinary yet just as unique. Some days, it spreads its viridescent wings to survey a rooftop. Other days, it puffs up its fluffy feathers and takes a nap. What lives has the little bird flown by? What stories has it witnessed? This is the tale of the little green bird's adventures, its journey through the skies.
This fiction updates every day, with each new story involving a word with a beautiful meaning.

Fun to read and ponder about possible connections to that word, especially when you succumb to the deep thoughts of only a simple beginning. Might be fun to slightly involve the bird more in the future (maybe a more bird like perspective of not knowing objects names along with single sentenced thoughts about the situation)
Aphorisms of Words - The short story - Sam TolanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have always enjoyed doing little snippets of story telling. When I was stuck or needed to brainstorm something, I would select a random word or a prompt. I would then take some characters and see what they would do. It was a wonderful way to naturally build expand on characters and improve my own skills.
I was pleasantly surprised when I found this short story and saw someone doing a similar thing. Each day a new word is taught and is weaved naturally into the skit. Some stories are connected or loosely branched off what came before, or so it seems for the reader and the little bird that witnesses the scene.
My personal theory is that the bird is somehow magical and may be a green sparrow (due to the cover).
Each chapter has twists and surprises, and I often reread to catch something I had missed on the first read.
I really enjoy learning new worlds and being inspired by these adorable little short stories. Like another reviewer said, these are the highlight of my day and I am always eager to see what the next installment will be like.
A few of the chapters took me by surprise to the point I had to lean back and reread to comprehend that it had been set up this way or why they might act this way. It made me far more curious about the lives of the random characters. - lxoniuqRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.040/10 highly recommend, a feast of inspiration that annihilated my art block. A myriad of themes are explored and the chapters have great re-reading value, because the writer packs meaning into every detail and leaves your mind lost in its depths long after each story has finished. These updates are the highlight of my day, and I look forward to expanding my vocabulary.
