Description

Our gods seek to make our world better.

Those outside do the same, as they see it.

Beyond civilization, the agents of the dark gods continue their work. To fulfill the promise of undeath. To create a truly immortal undead, and bring the eternal age.

The Moors are as far from civilized as it gets. And in the hostile wetlands, a less than humble demi-god succeeded. Not because their method should have worked. But because it allowed something from outside to step into the provided form and role.

It will play that role better than any god could have wanted.

What To Expect

• A story following the progenitor of an alien species (not native to the environment/setting) as they explore and seek to learn about the world, growing from the process.

• A species that converts/assimilates other sapients as it spreads (think vampires, werewolves, etc.)

• A heavy focus on the magic system and its mechanics, as well as how it affects the setting.

• An outwardly foreign magic system used by the main character.

• A variety of sapient non-human species, ranging from ecologically close to human to far removed.

WhatNotTo Expect

• Erotica. There are sex scenes. But they are written to further the plot, world building or character development. You can use them however you want, but the style is not targeted at being erotic.

• Focus on combat or martial skill. Combat happens, but most scenes are either one-sided or over quickly.

• Direct sexual violence.

• Humans. The closest are species as similar to humans as an elf or orc is to a human in most fantasy settings.
