What is an apocalypse to you

An apocalypse, what does that mean to you? Does it mean zombies sprouting up, monsters invading our world through rifts, or a combination of two? If the only way to survive is to invade the monsters world, and hope you’re one of the chosen. With the door closing behind, a leap of faith, what is your fate? To be brutally killed by the monsters you had hoped to escape, or to stand atop the world, and guarantee further generations?
