In Astria, creatures known as clots attach themselves to the worthy giving them grand power in exchange for pieces of themselves. Following the directions of a mysterious letter written by her mother, Seraphina steals off into an unknown and complicated world. Taken under the wing of pair of demon hunters she faces grave dangers while learning her clots' own unique abilities. Will she succumb to the demons, become another enforcer for the Church, or forge her own path in violet flames?
