What is a choice? What does it mean to have a will? These are one of a few questions a young boy have never asked himself, living in a world filled with fantastic creatures where one's mortality is just a game that the gods play. The boy does not know that such questions even exist until a wanderer came to town.

Let's start! Since there's a few chapter, I be reviewing only the grammar and style and abit of my observations:
The writing style of this novel is straightforward and descriptive, with a focus on setting the scene and introducing the characters.
The grammar is generally good, but there are a few mistakes and awkward phrasings that detract from the overall quality of the writing.
The narrative is engaging and provides enough detail to bring the setting and characters to life, but could benefit from more in-depth characterization and a clearer plot.
The focus on food and the cooking aspect of the story is interesting and adds to the atmosphere, but the author could also delve more into the motives and backstory of the man with the white hair. Overall, this novel has potential, but could benefit from further refinement and development.
