It's the 923rd year of the Second Era. 70 years after the house Daelvor seceded from the Anglan throne following the disastrous destruction of their seat of power. War has begun to brew between the two parties. Arran Stormcleaver, bastard son of a lord, is conscripted by His Royal Highness King Valos of the house Ebonblade to serve as personal vanguard and advisor. While Anglavar prepares for war more troubling things are brewing, the Black Blade Tyranny is brought out of safekeeping, and things thought long gone return to the fray.
