War of Falling Stars

James Kizashi never expected to make much of himself. Born as one of the many millions who inhabit colonies that litter the Solar System, he expected his admittance and graduation from military academy to be the biggest event of his life. However, as he graduates, he finds himself thrust into the flames of war, piloting the latest war machine of the colonies, an Astral Gear.

Caught in a violent war for the freedom of those who claim the stars as their home, will he be able to survive? And even if he does, who will he be when the flames of war finally die down?
