Gods, beings who dictate all life. Contrary to proper belief, gods are not born but created. Knowledge lost to time, each species having its own chance to bask in godhood. Some gods are erased from existence forever, dooming their species to servitude, and often, extinction.With the gods disappearing and no longer answering prayers, humanity and all creatures across the land forgot about the concept of godhood entirely.Leonard, an abandoned child whose species is going extinct because of his recently murdered God, struggles to live in human society. Not knowing that he's one of the last of his tribe, he lives with humans, oblivious to his origins.With a tiny spark of divinity that Leonard's god left him with his dying breath, Leonard, the last child of his species to be blessed by his god, struggles to find standing in a cruel world as primordial forces awaken.The war for divinity begins...But first Leonard must fill his stomach.Just a rough draft, still deciding how I want to go about this.
