Description

Mia isn't certain of a great many things.

She's not certain of where she woke up.

She's not certain why she's suddenly got spider legs when she KNOWS she didn't have them before.

She's not certain of who it was that's been talking in her head.

She IS certain that she's not who, or where she used to be, and she's certain that she's not just going to sit around and die, as freaky as this all is. Something major has changed, she needs to find something, and she needs to explore this world to do so if she ever wants to be at any peace. Hopefully, she'll make more friends than enemies in the process.

Oh, come on! It's an arachne story without a system. There are maybe four arachne fics that I know of  and half of them are litRPG. It's got good grammar and an interesting start to boot! In addition, she has a name ending in a soft -a, which is basically a necessity for all fictitious arachne. It crosses off a lot of my conditions for an interesting story, in other words. Read it, you won't regret it.

The story seems to be off to a great start,  with world development, character introductions,  and the smallest bit of action.   Mia's reactions to her situation are believable,  and plot hooks are set.   At the point of this review, she has just made contact with other characters,  and we have a simple but feasible explanation for their interactions.   I can't wait to read more!
Also,  grammar is solid with minimal typos, which is always appreciated.

Charming, lulling, sincere story with nice worldbuilding. Slice of life, with ups and downs, exploring of web and magic and fears. Interactions between Mia (MC) and society make it complex enough to be interesting.
I like the language used in a story - it works well for this particular author (PhoenixFlare) - storytelling flows freely, and a bit distinctive.
I feel the story comes together around chapter 8: Sociality - in my opinion, it's when main factors affecting Mia's survival are introduced.
