Vott Deaths Monster (working title)

Vott Fellgar, a Sargent in the empire's army is killed in a border keep as part of a civil war. He is then given both great power and a terrible quest by Chol god of death. A great calamity is going to befall the world, and it will be up to Vott and whatever allies he can muster to face it. (Note this is more or less a first draft, so I apologize for any mistakes and would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback.)
