No high stakes in this story.  It is a VR MMO that the MC started playing to get back at a guy that broke his sisters heart.  To do that, he came up with some plan that involves playing a female character and getting the Ex to date his VR character.
Honestly the details on this plan are still rather vauge, but more than that, I'm getting interested in the friendships the MC has made with a couple of other players in the game.  One is a vetran player of the game that roled up a new character. The other is the brother of the first, who is a skilled gamer, but is new to this particular game.
The drama is building with the fact that niether of these two friends realizes that the MC is actually a guy as he is playing the part of his female character well enough that the two don't question it.

Indents mixed in with the very open formatting made me mildly annoyed and happy that it could be overwritten with the help of RR reader preferences.
Anyway. I have to say that I couldn't truly get behind the way that people talked. The way they shifted topics just didn't seem natural at all and I had to honestly say that it annoyed me to no end. But, I am also quite the salty one on this particular point in styles. Grammar is fine enough otherwise, though the general sentence-structure might need some work. There were a few times where the wording confused me.
Anyway. 4/5. Good enough for casual read.

Starts off slow but has an interesting premise with a lot of potential.
    Style
The writing is easy to read. There isn't a lot in the way of describing the world, but the story can get away with it technically because it's contemporary. However, I think it would've been nice as a reader to feel a bit more immersed in a bit more detail and voice. For instance, when characters are talking, are they also moving at all (body language)?
    Grammar
Nothing stuck out to me here, so seems good in this regard.
    Story
The story feels really slow to start. Perhaps because the summary seems to be about a story that starts after chapter four. At the latest, it felt like the story could've started in chapter two. Most of the set up felt a bit unnecessary. Maybe because the story seems like it could be really good, I'm eager to get to the interesting part the summary introduces. So I think the story could have some better pacing in that regard so that the readers who came in interested won't lose patience waiting for the story to start. A careful look at what scenes really move the story forward could help, as well as then fleshing those out with some more detail.
    Character
The POV isn't very deep in the MC's head, but as a reader, I get the feeling he's a good guy. He's likable and generally relatable.
The story that gets started in chapter four feels like a bit of mystery, and that paired with the other tags like VR and GameLit make this romance have a different edge.
