Description

"Go to the pyramid and fix it. You'll do fine, I'm sure of it."

A discarded intelligent weapon is thrust into a strange world with little more than a body. The only people he finds shouldn't even be alive. They've been extinct for centuries, killed by their own warlike creations. Yet here they are, as if it never happened, living like they did in their distant past.

Creators or not, they are similar enough to the warbreed for his purposes. They have knowledge and weapons that can be stolen or traded for. Their presence can be helpful, and if it isn't, they will be dealt with. They may be hardier than most, but like any human, theycandie.

I love me some actual worldbuilding that isn't just dnd adjacent elves, dwarves and ect stew.
Interesting ideas as to a final fate of humanity. And, a ghostly child of humanity learning to live with a beating heart.
Best of luck to the author and a recommendation for people to read.

This story is so underrated. It's completely driven by a clear plot that was planned ahead of time, the writing is professional, the worldbuilding is extensive, and I just keep turning pages.
The MC is truly amoral, completely pragmatic about murdering whatever gets in the way of his mission. In many stories, the MC acting without morals is a huge downside for me that makes me stop reading, because it gives the impression the author approves of such behavior. But in this story it's clear that the MC is alien-minded and not any kind of role model, so it just adds a kind of gruesome fascination, like reading true crime stories.
There are a few silly plot points in earlier chapters that I suggest looking past. The MC falls asleep far too easily on repeated occasions, and makes some really dumb decisions that don't advance his mission, fighting recklessly when the odds are poor. The price of a boat ride in book 1 is pretty absurd, and there were much easier ways for the MC to get that money. He could have burgled a bunch of defenseless normal people instead of fighting the strongest crime lords in the city, or he could have just kept doing regular manual labor for years until he'd saved up enough. There was no time limit so he had little reason to take such big risks.
Mostly I appreciate the planning that went into the story. The author built a world, decided on how the plot would go for the whole story, and then wrote chapter 1. So it creates actual suspense and mystery. That's a big step up from a lot of trash-tier LitRPGs that litter this site. Some stories it seems like the author started with no ideas besides "hey what if the MC had X type of magic?" and hoped some kind of plot would magically appear along the way, perhaps hidden behind one of the millions of XP notices. But this one was planned.

Just read volume 1 and I'm not gonna lie. Story is fresh as f***. You can't find hidden gens like this alot and this guys 'middling' but alot and I mean alot of authors will never bother to learn due to their braindead bent  and semi-hard heads. So props to this man.
    Oh and stay safe.

Sorry to say, but there's not much more to it than the title! The story is well written, neatly contained (insofar as I have read) to 200 chapters, the characters feel REAL and everything is interesting enough for me to have blitzed through it in about a week. Good news for me though, is that there's a volume 3 I still can look forward to!
Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised

This story is great, it's incredibly well written, the world-building is awesome, the magic system is interesting and the story engaging, and by RR standards it's top-notch. And that's kinda the problem, the characters make choices that make sense given what we know about them, what they supposedly know, and their motivations, but even if they're kinda asshole-ish seeing the mc kill them made me feel pretty bad and put me off. Still, if you can get past the mc's character then this is one of royalroad's best novels right now.

Well, one thing I did not expect when picking up this novel was that I'd read one of the best stories I've ever seen on this site. Honestly, it boggles me how it's so low ranked for its quality. In fact, I think so highly of it that no single thing that I didn't like about it comes to mind. Though, I don't want this review to seem like I'm just praising it so I'll just say that even though I can't think of anything, I still wouldn't consider it as my top 1. There's no real reason, just feelings. But now, let's get to the meat munching.
Style: The style in this one is very impressive. All the scenes feel fleshed out without any unnecessary information, the combat scenes flow smoothly and so do dialogues. It will make you feel like you're there alongside the characters, observing.
Story: This might be the one thing I didn't completely enjoy. The pacing feels a bit slow. That's all though, the rest of it is amazing. There's a lot of plot twists that make sense if you think about it in hindsight, there's stuff that I actually learned from it due to the MC explaining how magical stuff works in comparison to real world stuff. Many of the plot points are interesting and very un-cliché.
Grammar: Once again didn't notice any mistakes.
Characters: Wow, characters might just be the strongest part of the novel for me. I know that not everyone liked a certain one, but I loved their character arc and how they grew as a person over the story. That can be said about all of the main cast. Mostly our MC, of course. I simply need to see just how human he'll become or just what exactly his personality will generate in the world.
Overall: If it wasn't obvious enough, I recommend it. Go read it immediately.

The premise is very interesting: an amoral assasin AI is sent on a mission which basically involves surviving long-term as a human in a fantasy world which he knows nothing about. It's an interesting take on isekai, and I'm a big fan of protagonists with alien modes of thinking like this. The writing is fantastic on a technical level, definitely top-tier on RR. Very smooth and with almost no English errors. The characterization and worldbuilding are also very good.
When I originally wrote this review around chapter 30, I only gave it 4 stars because it seemed like too much of a generic isekai: crafting, learning languages, figuring out "the system", etc. But as the story goes on, these cliche elements are deemphasized, it becomes more unique, the characters feel more real, and the author's writing improves. Around chapter 100 is where it starts to go from good to great. My only remaining complaint is that all of the names of people/places are in a difficult-to-pronounce conlang, which is an interesting idea, but it makes it more difficult to remember/follow the names.

First ever review so maybe just skip this one.
What first attracted me to this story was that the mc was an "intelligent weapon" as the synopsis called him. I took that to mean that he was basically an AI and so would have less, if any emotions and I was right.
He wasn't entirely emotionless, that was made very clear in some parts, but he doesn't care about most humans any more than he would a tree or animal in his way, this means he can and indeed does some stuff that some might call "a breach of the Geneva Conventions", so if you would rather avoid needless killing you might not want to read this.
To make it clear, he doesn't really enjoy killing but if it solves a problem more efficiently he won't hesitate.
All the characters are super well written, they all have personalities, fears, wants... I've read several stories where the mc's are less consistent and established then some random people we see maybe a couple times and the mc and more important side-characters are even better.
The magic. Don't think I've written anything too "spoilery" but better make sure.
The magic on this world is relatively limited, that means no one is blowing up mountains but even then it can do some pretty powerful things, someone trained in magic isn't ever going to lose to someone that is not in a straight fight.

An interesting story so far, I like the mc and the way he does things. Haven't seen much of the world yet but I hope it's going to be interesting. And I hope the magic is interesting and good of course. Sorry if my grammar is off or bad I'm not a English isn't my native language but I try. (ノ*0*)ノ I'll continue reading because I like it  and although I saw a few overused tropes it's alright not very common ones so that's good at least.

Very Nice, I'm on Chapter 2, and yet I approve immensely of what I have seen. My reading senses honed upon hundreds of thousands of pages over decades of reading sense that this will be a good story, a great story.
I love stories about a Character Skipping through time to the future, I also enjoy stories where Humans are the "Ancient" Species that is long gone, and finally, I greatly enjoy the detail and prose of this story.
    Basically, it's good, nuff said.
