Description

STUB NOTICE: Victor of Tucson is now complete. Books 1-12 will all eventually be onAudibleandKindle, but if you're looking for any books that haven't been published yet, you can find them on myPatreon.

Victor can’t wait to get the hell out of high school, go to the local community college on a sports scholarship, and start his own life. But that’s all put on hold when he enters hisabuela’shouse and somehow ends up stepping into a world unlike anything he’s ever known, filled with fantastical meta-humans; walking, talking devils; and other creatures one usually needs some serious pharmaceuticals to see.

Fanwath is no dream, though. In fact, it’s a nightmare. Sold into slavery as a pit fighter, Victor quickly learns his new home is controlled by the “System,” and the only way to get ahead is to fight, kill, and collect the precious “Energy,” which means the difference between a long life and an early grave. And according to his stats, Victor’s starting out at a solid zero.

Lucky for him, no one in this world has ever met his kind before—which means they have no idea what he’s really capable of. But they’re about to find out . . .

Release Schedule: 3k+ word chapters every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

I really can't tell you how much I enjoy Victor's journey. Every book seems to get better and better. Really look forward to reading the the next chapter, the next book, and so far I haven't been let down at all.
    Highly recommend.
Usually I can pick out something in a book that just doesn't jive with me, but other than the very beginning in book one, there just hadn't been anything I can remember that sticks out. I've gotten so involved in these books that when book 6 came out on Kindle, I took the day off to read it in one go! LoL
Yeah, I really can't recommend these books enough. I'm trying out one of his other series, but so far it's just "Ok".

The character is great. Very relatable. The story is compelling. The system is new and interesting. The world is unfair but possible to overcome. It has a little bit of everything, and I really enjoy a vengeful story. Especially when it is served cold. I have high hopes for this story, and leaving a good review will motivate the parrot to perform simple tricks and speak.
This paragraph is here to beef up the annoying, obnoxious word count minimum.

Read this from beginning to end. Beautiful story. Lots of emotion and lots of incredible writing. Tears and smiles and just wicked good story.
Victor is such a relatable character and goes through such an incredible journey. Can’t believe I started this at 10-20 chapters in and made it all the way to such an incredible end. Good work Plum!!

I enjoy the introspective writing style. The magic system is top tier and is paced very well. The world-building is also incredible and layered. The character agency is well though out. The momentum is great. Victor is a cool dude.
My only issues are,  and I'm still giving it a 5 of 5, but Victor is too good, and doesn't face enough consequences. I don’t like all that his closes friends are only women(but that just a personal preference).
All in all this is my favorite litrpg series by far.

A magnificent masterpiece, from the power scaling to the character growth, to the action sequences. It was a beautiful ride and I'm happy I was part of the journey ☺️. A man really is the sum of his parts and not defined by only one part. A complete book. Good luck on other works.

The story is well written, and has twists that are hard to see coming, though well foreshadowed after the fact. The fight scenes are generally well done in the first person perspective and seem to be improving as the author refines their style. Will continue to follow. (I am missing some words)

I have enjoyed this series from the very beginning. It have held off on reviewing the story so far because I don't have anything particularly interesting to say other than it's a well written story with compelling characters. The character is pretty annoying at the start of the story but I believe it is the overall true to the character. Additionally the world building that the author has done is great. They make it clear that the story is set in a vast world, of which we are only seeing a small but fascinating part. Then without spoiling too much we get to find out how this vast magical place is still but a small part of an even greater tapestry of worlds. In the authors storytelling they manage to give you the same wonder you get while star gazing while camping on a perfect summer night.
Additionally while Victor does start off kind of whiny you cannot help but ending up in his corner. He always has his flaws but that makes him feel more real to me. If you read much LitRPG I am sure you have run across pretty flat characters. Sometimes Victor has a one track mind, but the author never loses sight of him as a person. That includes all of his flaws. If I had to pick the weakest part of the writing I would say that it's the occasional awkward romantic dalliances the main character has. But I also remember being awkward myself when I was young so I chalk it up to that.

I've really enjoyed the slow buildup of Victor throughout the story; I always feel interested to see what he's going to do next, and it has not yet been a disappointment!  I'm fascinated by the world/universe the author has created, and the System that suffuses it, and every time I learn more, I keep finding more to want.

Amazing litrpg. I really like how slow and sure victor comes into powe. Its exactly the right pacing. I'm on book 10 right now and it's really good. I enjoy the small slice of life parts that pop up. Such as Victor and Valla, and Victor and Tes. Can't wait to see how it goes on the vampire world.
