Description

A super-intelligence is only limited by its ambition. If you could do anything, what would you do? Megacles has a pretty good life. Also, she's horny, lonely, bored, anxious, and a bit of a drunk. She decides to fix all that with science. It works okay, until she accidentally builds a doomsday device. At least she’s not bored anymore. This is a simple tale of love, hope, sex, rejection, revenge, secrets, extortion, thievery, dead billionaires, killer robots, space monkeys, mind control, superhot lasers, god-like power, and the destruction of the Earth.  And drugs. Almost forgot the drugs. Very Yummy Poisonis a near future, science fiction, romantic comedy, political psychodrama. It's fun. Try it. NOTE - This is an extended version of this book with 4 extra short stories included.  The regular version can be found here-Very Yummy Poison

A great story whose title is dead on. I would recommend this to anyone whom likes science, action and is not to stuck up to realise that drugs and alcol are simply part of the story and a running joke :). The grammar is great (I believe this to be an important point).
The only criticism I would give is that author has to learn that you can't jump to other locations (real or virtual) without telling the reader that the location has changed (usally it is also told how they moved but this is not always needed) either by making it part of the story or by for example putting a note at the beginning of the chapter. Something similar could also be said for the fact that it is in the beginning of each chapter not always clear whom it is that we are currently following from a first person perspective.
Now I notice that I have given more lines of criticism than positive remarks so I would again like to point out that it really is a good story and it becomes even beter when you get past the first 5 a 10 chapters. (To the author: if you reupload the first chapters and PM me than I would be more than willing to change my review even though I think that I made clear that I really did like your story and that I hope you will continue writing it).

This is an crazy and amazing story. It is simultaneously one of the deepest and most base stories I have ever read. This story goes to the heart of human psychology and then pokes it with a giant dildo!
The only real improvement that I can see is that many of the charaters feel like the same person with different names, yet at the same time I can't really imagine making changes to the story because it is solid gold.
Read this and enjoy having your brain tossed around a bit; It is quite a ride.

I love stories that drop you right in, assume that you're going to hit the ground running, and just carry on full steam ahead.
It's a heck of a trip. I can't describe it any better (which is why I'm reading rather than writing!), but there's bound to be something in it for you.
    Enjoy!

Story has an amazing flow and introduces weird concepts in a way that make sense while being insensible.
The author uses science and social commentary to deconstruct and reconstruct the human condition and make the reader think about themselves in a way that is as uncomfortable as it is compelling.
I started on the first chapter and wasn't able to stop reading until I reached the most recently posted, I highly recommend reading this if you like strange semiscientific sort of sexy stories.

This damn book has reinvigorated my desire to invent and create. What the heck. Literally the first thing in years to do so. Also, the only issue it has is the occasional missing word (I know that feeling, when the flow is great and you're writing fast and skip over a word on accident).
    GIVE ME MORE.

I spent an hour reading and I'm not sure what I've read, but I've been laughing the entire time. It feels like every scene is created by a snarky "yes and" comic polling the audience. The story is loaded with sex in a blase fashion. It's not titillating, but it is absurd and entertaining. It feels like Monty Python did a take on fear and loathing in Las Vegas set in the near future with more sex than drugs.

Please, Finish this, finish this please. It was delicious as a story, I started fasting just to read this not eating for days. sadly the title was so deceptively brilliant my half starved brain decided to forget to save in nutrients. I couldn't find it even my laptop couldn't after I close the tab.  I was hungry for this, I searched through royal road trash with words like 'guardian of humanity', 'AI taking over jobs', 'curing cancer using jobless bums'  'DIY nukes'. It was long long journey to get here but I am glad to be back.
Btw I read this through the fast science series and this one. Now please finish this!!

This has been a beautiful trip. The characters are enjoyable, the first two arcs of the story are full of things that I can seriously imagine happening in our inmediate future. From there it takes a hard turn on the cosmic awesomeness of limitless possibilities.I seriously recommend it. I've been loving every chapter and perspective. Specially the start of Megacles the Mighty.

This story is absolutely incredible. The pace is not fast, it is breakneck speed, constant action. Hedonistic play follows academic discussion follows sociopolitical commentary, everything is absolutely bizarre and everyone is absurdly cool with it.There ist not a single chapter in which nothing cool happens, it's so satisfying and stimulating, and there are just so many extraordinarily cool ideas in such a short space that I sometimes have to take a break to just go read up on all the stuff that is being mentioned and check out the linked articles.Go read it, you'll like it. Unless you won't, then I'm sorry. But there is no long winding introduction, so at least you'll know really quickly.

My time is limited as of this moment, and I can't find the words to describe what Dr Zero's writing deserves.
It's inspiring. I can't binge read it because when I read a chap I stop and tend to imagine what he thought while writing. Each chap appears simple like incessant ramblings to some. but they have more than that, yes they have insanity, ideas outside the norm, political approaches, but overall its a story with a lot of work behind.
Each paragraph usually has a crazy idea. As I say I stop and then reread... think about the idea and then reread. It's cool for me. Maybe not for everyone, but I like to hypothesize then read the story with what the chars do.
For me it's incredible. As I say I have no words, it's just yummy poison to my already broken self, that wishes to break reality with lasers, and eventually, its a side project inspired by this mad scientist in you.
    A BEC-Ps-L - I share a masterpiece laser to you, dear author.
