Pretty good story, I enjoyed reading it, despite not having that much knowledge on the original setting. I can't tell if the characters are perfectly in character, but I think they're well written! There is no problem with the grammar and vocabulary, and the sentences flow well.
The only slight issue I have is that there is one timeskip that is somewhat abrupt, but otherwise I have no other issue.
