Venator

In the heart of a dead city lives a being like any other, corrupted, and befouled by powers long passed. It lives, it breathes, it drinks, and it hunts. It hungers.

Upon the flesh of its once kin, it will rise into a being unlike any other. Death running through its veins, on its head a crown of iron thorns. Its maw filled with viscera of hundreds fallen.

A meek mongrel will rise with the morning sun and will shed its fur in honour of memories forgotten. Rising with the moon to be what its always meant to be.

- A forgotten prophecy, from a scroll long destroyed.

This is a story about a Hyena turned Gnoll, and his brutal adventures through the many realms. I do not plan for this to a be murder hobo simulator with pools of corpses (Rivers of blood not included) like other stories. I plan for this to be a semi regular long term thing that will hopefully involve progressing characters. The worlds elements are very much inspired by LitRPG's, subtracting the actual system element.

This is my first story I've written so criticism is VERY greatly appreciated.
