Ur of Nonric, Vettro of the Marduk Imperial Galactic Cluster travels through supraspace to find a solution for his species in the war against the mighty Alephians and to find healing for his beloved Heart Elder Nona.

An accident causes Ur to be stranded alone, without crew or hope for rescue, on the alien planet Velvet.

All he has are his loyal Bot Dade, planet Velvet to discover and his one question: What is the meaning of existence, if there is nobody there to appreciate it?

In this journey, Ur finds company and legacy in the most unexpected ways.
