Vanitas: The Fate of The Republic

For the past 50 years, the Republic of Augustus has kept an ironclad grip of control over the world at large from just one single element: Vanitas. However, resources ran dry a decade ago and now Pax, a small, bordering nation, holds all the cards. With Pax slowly realizing their importance, the tiny micro nation has begun isolating itself to conserve their precious remaining supply of Vanitas. The Republic grows impatient, and is willing to do anything to keep itself in power.

When the Consul, the de facto ruler of the Republic, suddenly disappears in the midst of all the chaos, his son, James, comes up with a scheme to bring his father back... and restore The Republic at the same time.
