Vampires of Eld

You know, when I closed my eyes and went into torpor, I had no idea the world could change so much in two hundred years. It was only supposed to be a week and then I’d be back to ruling Encinar. Now there’s elves everywhere and people are telling me some System infects the whole world and gives boons to those who use it!

And if you told me three days ago that vampires could be born from drinking a potion, I would have cut your head off for such heresy. Now there’s one such vampire calling me sire! I feel like a fledgling again thanks to the System, so why. Why did my sire and I agree to take on a ThinGen vampire as a trainee?

I need a drink, but there’s even more rules in place now. I have to buy that God forsaken manure they call canned blood! Oh what I wouldn’t give for a proper drink of vampire blood.
