Description
[That time I was reborn as the evil and hot Vampire Lord and had to seduce the heroic adventurers who are invading my dark castle in order to save myself because my other new magical powers suck, but I’m actually very socially awkward!]
What happens when a normal man is reborn as the dark heartthrob of a fantastical kingdom in a magical world — the Vampire Lord — and forced into survival when his real intentions are misunderstood by the people there, who perceive him to be an evil monster intent on destroying them all?
Reborn in another world as a horrific incarnation of the night, things actually seem to be looking up for the newly reincarnated Vampire Lord Inkume, until he discovers that all of his new-found dark magical powers are actually rather unimpressive — barring one: his unnaturally beautiful vampiric outer appearance!
After his role in this other world as a villain is made clear to him by fate and his retreating back to an old abandoned castle in the mountains above a backwater village, Inkume is challenged by an onslaught of heroic adventurers, priestesses, and knightly heroines who are all determined to save the world from the looming threat of the evil Vampire Lord that hangs over their heads as the Holy Church calls for his total destruction. Nobody will listen to him anymore, and now he has been thrust into an unwanted battle for life and death that will seemingly not end until his final death, unless he can find some way to survive the crusade.
Having no choice but to live himself into the new role that he has been given and make the best of the odd situation, Inkume fights with the only weapon of value he has left — his newfound otherworldly beauty and charm, which he has no understanding of, having been a socially awkward recluse in his past life. But even if he does master the challenges facing him, can such tools ever really win his battles against the silver blades and burning spells pointed at his black heart by the paladins to come, or is he doomed to fade into ash in the morning sunrise? Can both the world’s people and the terrifying Vampire Lord survive their shared nights, or must one of them make way for the other in order for peace to be found again?

- Baron HARDRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A funny MC in funny situations. Vampires already have a special place in my heart.
Women in danger, check.
Dungeons, check
Harem, check
Well-developed story. Funny characters that are easy to empathize with. The way the story leads the MC to fulfill the prophecy in the funniest and craziest ways. And how that story of the "FORCE" always puts the Jedi in the right place, at the right time for good to win. But here it's the opposite. I found it interesting how the dungeon grows and is a living creature. The castle with its moving parts reminds me of the castle of Castelvania. The brother's arc is very interesting. - DragondeathlordRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Sexy Funny and silly! this is one of Razzmatazz's best works. Truely I never read anything this well done by Razzmatazz and this is a good Author to begin with. You got a Main character who is terrified and honest with himself and does not seem to realize he being maid fun of and rewarded with his undead reincarnation.
- Enoch LambertRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is an excellent example of a great parody. It affectionately makes fun of vampires, especially sexy vampires and the romance stories featuring them, while itself being an excellent example of the best parts of the genera.
The MC being an awkward guy who has no idea what he is doing is quite charming, and really helps make the story work. Even just a few chapters in the humor is quite strong. - RedPineRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0MC passes the not evil test, with flying colors. He's plenty flawed, all the characters are, but in thoroughly relatable ways. Plus, they are all going through character development... Slooowly.
The premise is pretty basic, but the execution is priceless. I don't know how comedic timing gets put into written prose, but that's exactly what I'm seeing. This author has always been fairly pleasant to read, but this is on another level.
If the author can maintain a mere 20% of the quality I've seen so far, I'll be a happy reader.
Like all comedy, only read it if you think it's funny. Ymmv and all that. If this is a story for you, the prologue will pique your interest and the first two chapters will seal the deal. - SillyKaiserRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love the contrasts, the goofy bits mixed with sweet passion. I laughed out loud a few times, and I feel I connect with the characters very well. I hope Fifi upgrades to champion so she will have a ghost face that can better convey her silly cute style! A great story so far.
- Xavius_NightRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Much of the time, I like to sit back and read carefully crafted stories that make me forget the part where it's not actually a story entirely made up by someone's mind. Sometimes, I want to read a tropey mess that's just stupid fun with no need to be too deeply thought about.
This, however, is neither. It plays to the tropes in a way that is both refreshing and endearing, with a clear and joyous celebration of their identifiable nature - the main character is actually trope savvy enough to utilize that and leverage it without being an unstoppable force that ruins the tension. He can fail, a lot of the time, even, but he's good enough to recover from that failure gracefully, and that's hard to find powerful main characters, I find. - btillyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Inkume. A naive geek who'd prefer to be a swordsman, accidentally reborn as a vampire lord. Socially inexperienced, his only guide to his new unlife is a trashy novel that he happened to be holding when he died. Now prophecy says that he will destroy the world, though all he really wants is to read a good book.
Unfortunately, the local villagers know what ancient horror must have arisen in this castle. Those who know him best are obviously under his spell, and so can do nothing to dissuade them from trying to organize attacks.
Style: Completely delightful, I have no complaints. 5/5.
Story: Fun. I find it hilarious to see his enemies fall in love with him as he cluelessly recites trashy lines because he has no idea how he's actually supposed to act. This works significantly better on women than men. 5/5.
Grammar: English is not the author's first language, and sometimes that shows. I debated between 4 and 4.5, then realized that I have to criticize something...so 4/5.
Characters: That's the best point. The MC is sweet and caring and completely confused at his new situation. He really doesn't want to be evil, but when beautiful women offer their necks to him, how can a vampire resist? 5/5. - lllRadakRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0How would you fare when you are reincarnated as a handsome and cool vampire with the mind of a awkward introvert trying to survive to waves of differente races that want take his head as a trophie?
Well, our MC don't know either. His only trump card is a twilight-kind book with a super pheromone-expelling vampire MC who acts like his guru life.
And... It's a novel from the same author of world tree apocalypse if you loved that novel you will love this one.
PD: I love his she-wolf-pet ML. - penmanboatRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0gotta hand it to razz, the ability to create a new and engaging story, to do so multiple times in drastically different tones and themes, and then to layer those stories into the same world as grounding for the next, it's a unique and much appreciated thing you got going on. looking forward to seeing where our fake-it-till-you-make-it vampire lord and company end their tale.
- thule222Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm enjoying it. Can't put it down. Funny and engaging. The main character is well done, the descriptions are great and the twilight send up is funny. Snatch's character is adorably quirky. The vampire lord's social awkwardness is well handled. It makes him much more relatable. Everyone is being reasonable but they are trapped in their roles in the story
