Description
My name is Johnny Rico, and I was born to an island that has rarely seen good times.
Between the machinations of Hydra, the greed of Cobra, and the do well intervention of the Justice League, or the Avengers. Val Verde has suffered.
I have obtained the coveted title of the Supreme Leader. All of Val Verde is mine to command. Yet I have also inherited every problem that the previous Supreme Leader had neglected.
It is as they say, there is no foundation quite like rock bottom.

- meddler88Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0All I can say is that when I reached the current last chapter, it felt like I was sucker punched in the stomach because there was not another. This story starts a little sad but it opens up the world setting and brings so much depth to the characters. So please do not let the sadness detour you from reading.
To the Author,
Please stay strong and true.
PS,
Also never stop writing. LOL :-) - Dr. P3pperRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am not that proficient in finding false in grammar, I just fimd a few simple errors but thats totally fine.
Let me give a small review.)
The story?
How do I explain this... It's quite complex, fun and above all else, it's quite believable.
There's reasoning in it, characters felt alive as they have their own will.
Kingdom or Country building? Yes. It does in a fast paced yet acceptable way as there's supers, organization and other stuff that can threaten their Country.
The Plot?
Well their world is composed of Marvels and DC combined not all characters are in it or maybe the author haven't introduced them yet...?
Well truthfully they are not the main focus of the story but our MC the Supreme leader as he tries to revive a broken and devasted island country.
There's too many stuff I would like to pass over... Long story short their country was onces used by Hydra and when they lost the leaders escaped.
Our MC was just a normie? :) one of the few military officer or maybe higher ranked leader left after the war, he's family was killed in the war by our very Own Mr. Stark, as such the consequences of war.
Our MC is Nationalistic man who loved his family and country above all else, so he decided to be the Supreme Leader.
You'll see how he tries to revive his country, how he negotiates with some of the famous villains like Lex Luther, he's relations with super, mutants like Logan and AI.
Love the multiple Character POV about Ultron and his... Future counterpart? Friday from Resident Evil, maybe? :)
Well who knows... The world building is just starting... And I am very much excited how this novel will unfold.
The MC is a good Lad, but not a wimp in fact he's a damn good leader.
Well... I would like to give my appreciation for the author, I actually dranked all the chapters in just a few hours.
And again I thank the author for such a good novel. :) - ElfDaddyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Alright, caught up to the latest chapter. Unlike most other superhero stories I've read, this feels more well-flushed and realistic.
Of course, minor nitpick is your small grammar mistakes which are easily avoidable, but other than that, good job. - Jangofet54Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Welcome to the wonderful world of DC meets Marvel. You've got Cobra, you've got Hydra, you've got Batman and the Justice Leauge, you've got The Mighty Avengers, aaaaaannnnnnddd you've got a nation once-prosperous now standing at the brink.
Enter the Supreme Leader. A man who deeply cares about his people and is looking to rebuild and improve his nation.
Overall a really good novel and a fairly unique viewpoint on a world dominated by superpowers. I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend this novel. - ObreezyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Hello Obreezy here just wanted to let everyone know about this story. This is a great story it has the justice league, the avengers, j.i. Joe as well as cobra. The Mc has no powers just your regular person who comes in control of a land where the penile worked with hydra and cobra until they were deafeted and started to turn the island around. It's a really good story I hope the author continues this story and won't drop it.
- RationalMindRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story is very good. The main character feels very real.
I get that this is a 'slice of life' kind of story. But most chapter we see MC being made someone's bitch. Everyone knows MC will get powers at some point. Atleast give us some hint how he will get the power (we are already 16 chapters in without any hint). Otherwise the story may become stale.
I'm not telling you to make this story a powerwank. But still, such a good story with actual characters (instead of cardboard cutouts) without powers in a world of Gods and Demons feels incomplete. - DodikdovRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So good! Great fan-fic, like how it mixes both (questioningly?) GI-Joe and the Avengers. SO good! Absolutely yummy too. Nice descriptions.
- Mash_PotatoesRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Style: For those who like a more slow-paced story that takes its time with each event to truly flesh things out, this is unfortunately not the story for you. Time in this story progresses at a relatively fast pace with events shifting quickly from chapter to chapter which could be jarring for some. For those who don't find an issue with this, it will be a great story for you. 4/5
Story: While the story does suffer from its fast-paced nature it has overall been handled well by the author with the storyline staying coherent, logical and most importantly exciting/interesting even with the number of crossovers in the story. Though I will warn that this story is not one for those who dislike seeing the MC suffer or reading about suffering altogether as the story has a rather sombre tone at the beginning, though it does become much more cheerful as the story progresses. The suffering is not needless, however, and is rather integral to the start of the story and how it develops so you don't need to worry about it being 'dark' just for the sake of it. 4.5/5
Character: The characters introduced in the story are interesting figures that don't come off as being cardboard cutouts and have their own quirks and personalities, especially in the case of Supreme Leader Johnny Rico himself. They do, however, suffer from the fast-paced nature of the story and are generally not as fleshed out as they could have been with the exception of MC Johnny Rico. 4/5
Grammar: Grammar-wise, the story has its issues with typos, missing words, sentences that sound off and the like, nothing truly massive, but it is there for those that want to know. It could be jarring for those that really care about grammar and find them un-immersive as it breaks their concentration. For those that don't, however, the mistakes are minor enough that they shouldn't bother you too much or take away from the story itself. 4/5 - Van234Royal Road★★★★ 4.0It is kind of interesting, the fusion of DC and Marvel. The idea, in general, is really great. The only problem I have is with MC, I just do not believe in him as a leader, he is kind of generic good guy.
The beginning was fun, but later characters' interaction kind of through me off, it looks like a slice of life. Also, the last chapters literally can be replaced with few sentences.
For me, this kind of character can be ok for adventure/hero MC, but no not a leader. Like the only thing I can say about him at this moment is that he is a good guy and kind of a pushover, "great" qualities for a leader. I cannot really believe in it if it is stated that he lived through great hardships.
So it is not bad and it may be really interesting later, but at this moment I am kind of disappointed. - ehammoRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0When I started this story I expected to be bored. I started because I wanted something with dc/marvel in it, and it had a nice summary. But boy was I entertained! It puts together DC, marvel, big hero 6, GI Joe, it's so much stuff, but the author make it work, make it blend as it always been there. There is no character that keeps pointing out these discrepancies so they blend even more. Sometimes I really don't know if the character is an original character or came from a different universe.
But it does have a few problems. The story jumps in time a lot to show progression. But since it also has a slice of life thing going on, sometimes we jump to a slice of life scene. Which is fine, but breaks a lot of the flow of the story. I expect some middle ground, like plot stuff, plot stuff resolution, then slice of life. The frequent time jumps are bad sometimes.
I have a minor issue with grammar. Since my own grammar is not that good, I don't complain much, but some stuff would be easily caught by an editor, or really any second person that reads the story
I also think that sometimes a character goes from being called from their last name to their first name and my mind does not make a connection. Because I read their full name a single time, and their last name was called several times, so I don't know who this person is when I see their first name.
And at last the harem. Suuuuure is not an harem, is just that EVERY new powerful known character that the Mc knows is a girl. So far, the only guy he's in contact with is wolverine but even then is something of 3 to 5 lines in 50+ chapters. Yeah. At the beginning It was mostly okay, although the sexualization of the trauma imbued girl was too much for my taste... I just think it got out of hand. You got supergirl, starfire, the sexfriend, the crazy scientist, the crazy scientist assistant, the maid, harley Quinn, poison ivy, a female captain America wanna-be, a friday(AI) robot ALL IN ONE SINGLE BEACH SCENE WEARING BIKINIS!
