Five years after a great war ended, a new story begins. The relics created from that time, the hybrids, seek to find their place in the world. The hybrids possess superhuman abilities, along with a unique power. However, they aren’t the only supernatural power that remains in the world of Noucant. An awakening is taking place.

Cadivus, a fire hybrid who happens to be pyrophobic, (that means afraid of fire. I saved you a google search.) finds himself on a quest for absolution. He’s over-confident, lacking tact, an alcoholic, a near-do-well, and has an enthusiasm for peer pressure. But his desire to be a celebrated hero like his brother, guides his morals. Exiled along with his sister-in-law, Thermia. An enthusiastic people-person, with a penchant for drama. They must find the real culprit, and bring him back to face justice. Along the way, they form a team with other brave adventurers. The only question being…who will kill Cadivus first? His enemies…or his team.

The first in a trilogy that seeks to bring you fast paced story telling, action & adventure, lots of comedy, and a splash of romance. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll sing at the top of your lungs. The debut novel for Adam Guthro. If you’re a fan of the fantasy genre, this is my love letter to you. Although I’d prefer to be platonic if honest.
