Description
Growing up in the slums is hard. Particularly when those above your station care little about you and leave you to fend for yourself. The only way to survive is to use and harness your strengths to ensure your oppressors become the oppressed. There’s no-one out there to help you but those you call kin. So why not take them with you when you suddenly become royalty. Why not show everyone what you and yours are capable of. Why not change things so orphans like you and your kin never have to suffer in the shadows again.

- Carson6319Royal Road★★★★ 4.0The writting so far presented is equal if not better then a number of stories found in the most popular and rising stars.
Grammatically there are few errors outside of the occasional odd spelling error. That said, there are instances of sentences that may give you pause because they are slightly outside the modern norm.
Storywise, the author has set the environment up similar to a kingdom builder with a set of individuals in a corrupt environment driven with the desire to improve it. That said, improvements so far have come from espionage and general competency over the traditional route of technological innovation.
In terms of narrative flow it really is an engaging easy to read work. The author does leave a lot to inference when compared to other works on this site and I am unsure if that is a good or bad thing.
All in all, I recommend giving this work a read. You will know whether you are going to enjoy it within the first few paragraphs as that really does reflect the quality of the work so far.
Do note that the cast is not shy of murder and general bloodshed if the situation justifies it. This has apparently put off some readers in the past.
