Druids bargain away their body in order to bond with a fairie who grants them powers beyond the natural world. Kian is assigned to be a warrior, a low ranking position on the roaming island his clan inhabits. Wanting more than the mere scraps fate has given him, he strives to become a druids apprentice but the road before him is much darker than he anticipated.
