As far as life-changing events go, suddenly remembering your previous life ranks pretty highly. That’s even more so when it makes you realize that the world that you’re in is just like the setting of a cultivation novel—and, more importantly, that the people around you are just like the characters.
Hao Zhen, a lowly outer disciple of the Blazing Light Sect, ends up finding out first-hand what that’s like after a series of unfortunate events. Now, nothing makes sense anymore, he doesn’t even know who he really is, and more questions than he can count plague his mind. As if that wasn’t enough, his aptitude for cultivation is passable at best, he has no background to speak of, and he lacks special powers or abilities of any kind.
Faced with cultivation novel shenanigans left and right, Hao Zhen isn’t sure whether his genre savviness and modern knowledge—the only things he has going for him—will be enough to keep him alive.
Regular release schedule:1 chapter every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. (3 chapters per week; 2,000 to 4,000 words per chapter.)

- VintearisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0In short words I like it. It's kind of late so I don't have energy to give detailed review on every aspect on the story so I will be brief.
Identity aspect is done nicely. Reincarnated protagonist doesn't simply rewrite existing local person from another world with his secondary becoming subordinate to earthling identity which helps in immersion as MC is already assimilated into foreign culture while acquiring new perspective at the same time as an outsider with meta knowledge.
Revelation part is also shaping up in good direction. Protagonist isn't simply smugly lording over lowly, foolish morons from harem xanxia always being right instead he makes mistakes, learns from them and has grips with it.
MC while doesn't have typical granted cheat protagonist powers instead rises above others in his unique way and is developing his own powers finding ways to utilize already existing tools in ways that other hadn't.
Characters aren't simply from one dimensional xanxia. There is depth to them even if they act in typical foolish and contrived xanxia style. There is reason for everything. - TosangRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I can Say this book here may raise someday.
1st The mc is pretty stand out . He has Knowledge yet Still confuse about many thing. He weak but he try to cope with that. Scheming and Try to uses past life wis over might.
Other Characters is Fine with many details that fleshed them out from random one time Mobs.
The Cultivations System seem new and that also a plus.
Story is not too slow or Fast , has both action and slice-of-life chaps so nothing feel overwhelm.
All in all . This is a very good one to read and enjoy. Hope this wacky review of my Can lure you in 😋😋😋TFTNovel Author 👍👍👍 - GabindadeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0"Unfortunately" it is just too good. Oh yeah! Really enjoyed this! The way the characters are woven; the build up; the OPness'; the convenience and the crafty subtelty of how science is woven into his skill set. The novel has twists and turns and is very cool. I am running out of words of praise and phrases of expression. I want to read as many future chapters as I can. And I hope the future stays just as good.
- F.L. RileyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The MC is transmigrated to another world, or has he? Maybe his memories from a past life are a product of reincarnation.
The MC has transmigrated into another realm, or has he? Maybe he is in another world, or trapped in the workings of a novel.
The MC seems is the only one to notice hiccups in events, or is he? He finds he might not be the only one to notice that events and happenings are glossed over and ignored. It's almost as if people have been programmed not to notice.
Is he in a game, a book, or another universe? It's been enjoyable reading as the author explores the truth behind the MC's transmigration. - luda305Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a fun little earthling transmigrated into a cultivator story. A few standout points: first, unlike most stories that start with the earthling and follow them to cultivation world, here we start with a cultivation native who suddenly regains his earth memories. Of course, the twist is that the earth personality is so much stronger than the cultivator personality that the cultivation personality is essentially subsumed by the Earth personality. While the specifics are left unknown to the other characters, they do remark on the personality shift. Second, there's a very subtle game lit element here. The main character begins to draw parallels between the people and events that he's dealing with and the common tropes and archetypes of cultivation novels. While that seems to be working out so far, there's a self-awareness that he's not entirely sure he is in a novel or not and so it could all backfire all the sudden. It works really well. Finally, the execution is very on point. Writing is crisp and the grammar nearly flawless.
- apauloseRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I want to start out by saying I absolutely hate the concept of a main character using tropes to accurately predict the future. Just because a setting sort of resembles a story doesn't mean the world functions on convenient predictable story rules.
So I was a little bit apprehensive going into this since the description implies that the main character here does just that. Predicting the future with "genre savviness."
But I surprisingly like that aspect of the story here because it's taken seriously for once. The MC doesn't end up in a xanxia world and immediately assume that life is going to follow trope logic. Instead he reacts with doubt and skepticism at first but through pattern recognition he has to accept that the events happening around him do seem to be following those rules. On top of that it slowly gets revealed that some other characters are capable of recognizing how weird that is even when they don't have the context of having read xanxia stories in the first place. So it definately seems like there is a reason for this that will be a part of the story long term and I really like that concept. - SytriikRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The start feels fairly normal but it is well thought out and written. As you go more and more is revealed which makes it seem really promising. I'm looking forward to more!
The magic system also seems to be fairly logical. The story hasn't explained it in too great detail as of yet, which is proper to avoid info dumping, but so far it's been pretty good. - user8090Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Very nicely done cultivation transmigration story. The protangonist acts naturally, the pacing is good, and hints of the mystery behind the world peek through every so often. If I had to make a complaint, and a minor one at that, it would be somewhat insufficient tension or suspense. Everything progresses smoothly, which is fine, but some occasional surprises would serve well to liven things up.
- Hullo55747Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Good stuff.
The only real gripes i have is the sometimes rough language and pacing, but it is inoffensive enough to not take away from the whole.
The characters introduced so far are well written, but since only a few have been introduced so far, im gonna withhold handing out five stars. Sorry.
The premise is good, but the execution has managed to continuously keep things interesting so far.
Anyways heres a string of nonsense for the word limit:

Doesn’t follow teh cultivation harem route, teh MC isn’t overpowered, there’s use of strategy here that show plot and background details that can be furthur explored, and the story doesn’t seem too self centred around the MC instead including other characters to be connected to the main proble.
That being said does anyone have novels similiar to this?
