Tyrill

Tyrill is a young orphan who has spent his entire life in the United Nations Child Developmental program. Stuck on a planet many would view as a quagmire of mundanity, he makes a critical mistake, jeopardizing his spot in the program. Unwelcome, and worried about the prospect of being kicked out and sent to a rundown, underfunded group home Tyrill decides on the gutsy decision to undergo an advanced aptitude test. Viewed by many as a last resort, losing your autonomy and self-determination to the government, Tyrill receives a surprising result. He has the requirements to train as an Esper.

In the distant future, humanity achieves the impossible. Trapped inside their solar system for thousands of years, unable to break the shackles of seemingly inflexible universal laws, a shocking discovery is made. The code of the universe can be modified. Viewing themselves as Gods, humanity ventures out into the unknown. Only to find themselves not only not unique, but rather weak compared to many of the myriad of entities and civilizations which occupy even just their small part of The Milky Way Galaxy.
