Two Skies and an Ocean

A higly advanced civilization, driven by the greed of theirmonarchs, has destroyed the world they live in. They had already done it in the past, but, although scientists had managed to give the planet all it needed to flourish once more, the rich just wanted to be richer, and destroyed all their efforts. And so, all that was left was to run down to theUnderground, once scavaged for resources by many, and almost completely unmapped. That left open the possibility to discover new and as of then unknown caverns between systems of tunnels built more thantwo centuriesbefore this crisis. Almost the whole scientific community thought that it would be the only solution.

A group of trained men and women, part of the so calledPROJECT, after promising to each remaining city on the surface an equal part of "land" to rebuild upon, started scouting this Underground, to make sure everything was safe,not knowing what they would uncover once down there.

What I originally started writing on the site. I scrapped it because it didn't feel good to write, at all, as I scrapped multiple chapters and multiple chapter versions. I didn't feel "ready", so I started working on a simpler first fiction to start my journey! If someone ever sees this... you could convince me to pick this up again
